Driven by these observations, Ali embarked on a mission to introduce sustainable practices and waste management solutions by creating his venture, Tadweem.

The idea for Tadweem was born out of a realization of the lack of specialized business models in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the secondhand apparel market. Ali Bakhallagi saw an opportunity to create a business that filled this gap and promoted environmental sustainability. Tadweem, a name derived from the Arabic words for recycling and sustainability, is a social investment company focused on recycling. It aims to introduce the concept of sustainable fashion to Saudi Arabia and encourage sustainable practices in daily life.

Tadweem operates by collecting surplus clothes, which are then sorted, cleaned, and sterilized.
