Ibrahim Manna is a visionary entrepreneur steering BRKZ, a Saudi Arabia-based B2B construction technology startup, toward a transformative role in the nation’s construction sector. As the founder and CEO, Manna has positioned BRKZ as a vital contributor to Saudi Vision 2030, a national initiative to diversify the economy and reduce oil dependency. His innovative approach to digitizing procurement processes is helping fuel the success of Saudi Arabia’s ambitious infrastructure projects, making him a key figure in the country’s economic transformation.

Before launching BRKZ in 2023, Ibrahim Manna served as the Managing Director at Careem, a leading ride-hailing and delivery platform in the Middle East. His tenure at Careem sharpened his ability to scale technology-driven businesses in complex markets. Manna’s experience in navigating operational challenges and fostering innovation at Careem directly influenced his decision to tackle inefficiencies in the construction industry. His entrepreneurial mindset and deep understanding of technology’s potential to solve real-world problems laid the foundation for BRKZ’s creation.

Vision and Mission of BRKZ

BRKZ was established to address the inefficiencies of traditional construction procurement, which Manna describes as “highly fragmented and manual”. The company’s mission is to create a tech-enabled ecosystem that revolutionizes how construction materials are sourced and supplied in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. BRKZ’s digital platform connects contractors with a vast network of suppliers, offering transparency, competitive pricing, and flexible payment options like Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL).

Since its inception, BRKZ has facilitated over $170 million in quotations across nearly 1,200 products from more than 350 suppliers. This scale demonstrates BRKZ’s ability to streamline procurement, ensuring contractors have access to materials when needed, which is critical for large-scale projects.

Contributions to Saudi Vision 2030

Saudi Vision 2030, launched in 2016, aims to transform Saudi Arabia into a global investment powerhouse with a diversified economy. A cornerstone of this vision is a $3 trillion infrastructure program, including mega-projects like NEOM, King Salman Park, The Red Sea Project, World Expo 2030, and the 2034 FIFA World Cup. These initiatives require efficient supply chains, and BRKZ, under Manna’s leadership, is addressing this need head-on.

BRKZ’s platform has signed up 1,100 suppliers and 500 transport providers, serving approximately 250 contractors monthly. In 2024, the company delivered 8.25 million blocks and 40,000 tons of steel, directly supporting Vision 2030 projects. By digitizing procurement, BRKZ reduces delays and costs, ensuring these projects stay on track. Manna’s vision aligns with Vision 2030’s “Thriving Economy” theme, which emphasizes economic diversification and technological advancement.

Dany Farha, co-founder of BECO Capital, notes, “The construction industry is foundational to the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, and is ripe for technology and organizational optimization”. BRKZ’s ability to process $350 million in requests for quotations (RFQs) across 40 cities in Saudi Arabia further highlights its role in driving efficiency.

Funding and Investor Confidence

BRKZ’s success is backed by significant investor support, reflecting confidence in Manna’s vision. The company has raised $22.5 million, including a $17 million Series A round completed in 2025, with contributions from BECO Capital, Aramco’s Waed, 9900 Capital, Better Tomorrow Ventures, and others. This funding will enhance BRKZ’s technology, expand its BNPL offerings, and support cross-border growth.

The investment underscores BRKZ’s alignment with Vision 2030, as it attracts foreign investors to Saudi Arabia’s booming construction sector. Manna’s ability to secure such backing highlights his strategic leadership and the trust placed in BRKZ’s potential to transform the industry.

Future Plans and Expansion

Manna has ambitious plans for BRKZ’s future. In 2025, the company will establish offices in Saudi Arabia’s Northern and Southern regions, expanding its presence across the kingdom. Additionally, BRKZ is targeting global markets, particularly China and India, to strengthen its supplier network and meet the growing demand for construction materials.

This expansion supports Vision 2030’s goal of positioning Saudi Arabia as a hub connecting Afro-Eurasia. By building a robust, tech-driven supply chain, BRKZ is aiding current projects and preparing for future infrastructure developments across the MENA region.

Ibrahim Manna’s leadership at BRKZ is a testament to how entrepreneurial innovation can drive national progress. By addressing inefficiencies in the construction sector, Manna is directly contributing to Saudi Vision 2030’s vision of a diversified, thriving economy. His platform’s impact, evidenced by its rapid growth, significant material deliveries, and strong investor support, positions BRKZ as a cornerstone of Saudi Arabia’s infrastructure boom. As Manna continues to innovate and expand, his role in shaping the future of the construction industry and supporting Saudi Arabia’s transformation will only grow.
